Finding My Way Around

I’ve always admired great photographers. Having been an observer most of my life, I appreciate the way a photograph can bring back a memory, take us to the top of a mountain or offer the serenity of an ocean beach at sunset.

Elk Rapids in October

June 26 – July 18 I’ve started research on the history of Leelanau County – my home spot for the past 40 years. The area is rich in Native American, early maritime and settler’s history. A drive through the woods and farmlands still reveals evidence of the early settlements and lifestyles of the first people who lived there.
